Sang a tune with Steve Jarrell & Sons of The Beach

Steve Jarrell & Sons of The Beach

If you are from Fredericksburg, Virginia,
you HAVE to know this musical hero. Is it a surprise, another legend comes from Fredericksburg? I say not…in fact…. I say, Fredericksburg needs a Music Hall of Fame.

But, I digress.

Saturday, January 1, 2011
Fairview Beach, VA @ The Pirates Den
I sang a few tunes with Steve, singer and sax player,
and his band, The Sons of The Beach.
I had so much fun. The crowd was great, and this
band KNOWS how to entertain and make sure
everyone is dancin’ and having a great time!
They are SO good,
people danced all night long to them on New Year’s Eve,
and then came BACK for more less than 24 hours later.

But, okay, you say, “Good entertainer…that’s cool. Whatevs…”

Ok, NO! Let’s take a brief, and it is a VERY brief look, at what Steve HAS done, and what he is doing now.

The Prophets– 1960s
This was the hit makin’ band that began Steve’s career!
